I recently found out that my cousin, Zoë De Backer, started writing stories on Wattpad.

I did a bit of research about this platform and it turns out that you can easily join Wattpad and read and write stuff for free.
One of the cool things about this platform is that you can publish parts of your story as it develops and let other readers/writers comment to help improve your story. 

So I decided to join Wattpad and share a new story, titled 'Hotel Clearview'.
You see, it is something I started writing a while ago and I would LOVE some feedback. 
So, please, feel free to join Wattpad, read my story and let me know what you think.

I have already added the first two parts and will regularly update and add new parts.
If you have any comments, questions or suggestions about the story, the characters or the writing, just leave a comment. It's as easy as that :)

As you might have noticed, my brilliant plan against procrastination didn't really work...
Fortunately there is something that always helps me push myself to write.
And that is Nanowrimo.

 For those of you who have never heard of Nanowrimo before, I will explain it.
It is an online event that encourages people to write a novel in 30 days.
Every November thousands and thousands of people pledge themselves to write 50000 words, starting on November 1st and ending on November 30th.

The really great thing about it, is the entire community of fellow writers. Some will soar to 50000 words by November 15. Others will make it just in time, five minutes to midnight on November 30th. And some will not make it at all.
But during that whole month you feel like you are part of an amazing group of people all struggling with the same problems: not feeling very inspirational some days or fighting with characters having a mind of their own (it happens, some characters are just to willful and do or say things that the writer didn't plan - at all).

So if you have a story in you but you can't seem to find the time to get it on paper, this might just be the thing for you.
It has helped me write my first book (which was published in 2017), has pushed me to write my second book (still in the editing phase on that one) and is now inspiring me to start my third book.

I wonder how far I will get this time...
I'll keep you up to date of my Nanowrimo adventure :)

I reached out my hand and ran my fingers over the cover. So smooth...
